Celebrate the contribution your Voice brings and learn the negative impact your Voice can have on others. Every Voice experiences stress and frustration that creates actions that can negatively affect those around them; we call this a Weapon system. Learn how to recognize what triggers your weapon and how to build self-awareness in order to take an intentional and proactive approach in challenging situations.

The Art of Communication

Get the best from each person on your team by learning to leverage and trust the strengths of their Voice. Learn to recognize the common ground you have with other Voices and where there is potential for conflict. We will introduce the Rules of Engagement and Healthy Leadership Statements that will help you understand and unleash the potential of your team.

Optimizing Team Performance

Learn how to create team alignment and synergy by harnessing the contribution of all 5 Voices. High Performing Teams have learned to optimize 5 areas: Communication, Relationship, Alignment, Execution, and Capacity. You will walk through an assessment that will help you focus on the area your team needs to improve. Maximizing Influence

Why do some people have more influence than others? Learn how to leverage the power of influence in all your relationships and understand how you may be undermining yourself without realizing it. Participants will use the Influence Model tool to identify how to build short-term and long-term influence. We will explore how trust is built and how relationship, the key to long-term influence, can be achieved, and what is going to get in the way.

Mastering Effective Communication

Every team has room to improve their communication. We will introduce 3 approaches that will help. Effective communicators:

1. Calibrate high support and high challenge with everyone they work with
2. Understand the different styles of communication and the types of questions people ask. Participants will learn about the communication code and how to use it
3. Use active listening to improve on their ability to receive the intended message from others. Together these approaches will increase the effectiveness of your team's communications.

Becoming Present and Productive

Learn about the 5 Gears tool to become present and productive in a world where there is never enough time. The 5 Gears is a simple yet powerful tool that describes different modes of personal engagement. Participants will learn about Focus, Multi-task, Social, Connect, and Recharge modes. They will understand how to shift into the right gear at the right time to truly connect with others around them.
